Wirezoll Bluetooth speaker ZF-505

My speaker arrived in a rather attractive box with an outdoor sporting motif. Inside the box was the speaker itself, a short no tangle mini-jack to mini-jack audio cable, a similar USB to micro-USB charging cable, and a well written and easy to read User Guide which I reproduce in my unboxing video..

Build quality seems first rate for the speaker. It is encased entirely in a rubberised skin and the access flap for the various ports is grommet protected. I would say it is well capable of withstanding a fall or two from a bike as it is shown on the box positioned in a bike bottle cage. The cables on the other hand are both pretty thin and lightweight, although some would see that as an advantage. It is a pity that a unit such as this designed for outdoor uae does not have a flashlight built in. According to the description on this page it is IP65 water proof ( safe in heavy rain but not water immersion).
Using the speaker is easy enough as there are audio prompts as well as the usual flashing LED. The front control buttons are large but rather hard to see other than in good light being black on black. They follow the usual functions for volume and track advance. This is more of a speaker than a powerbank but it does have a single standard USB port to power external devices from the internal 5200 mAh battery but I am not sure of the exact output rate.. The unit is charged itself via a micro-USB port in the access panel which is where the TF card slot , Power Out USB port and the tiny Off/On switch and AUX port are also located.

Sound quality is excellent, good and loud with plenty of bass. It is a pity there is no radio as other units have but you cannot have everything.

This is an excellent quality speaker, robust and capable of rough handling nevertheless it has an excellent sound quality. The price is on the high side but this may be reduced further with time, in any case it is worth paying out for quality items.
